Getting started is a breeze - if you're subcontracting to another company, register for an app account on the Formbay website and after a quick phone call, you're ready to receive work. One app login allows you to receive work for any company already on Formbay Trading. If you're doing STC applications for your own installations, register for the Formbay app and a Formbay Trading account. Once set up, you can create your own jobs on the go via the app and sell your STCs through the Trading platform.
The benefits of using the Formbay Solar app are numerous. It features a reliable barcode scanner, making data entry quick and accurate. You can easily capture on-site evidence of installation with geo-tagged and time-stamped photographs. The app also allows for in-app signatures from CEC accredited Installers, Designers, and Homeowners. Even if the customer is not present, you can obtain their signatures via email or SMS. Additionally, the document scanner automatically detects the document's edge, crops out the background, enhances the image, and squares up the corners (available on iOS 13 and above).
Formbay Solar is also suitable for remote locations. Simply log in before heading out to a remote site and sync your data with the app when you return home.
